The company is conveniently situated near the Beijing–Guangzhou Railway and National Highway 107, just 70 kilometers from the provincial capital, Zhengzhou, with excellent geographical location and well-developed transportation and communication infrastructure. Established in June 1997, the company covers an area of 45,000 square meters, with workshop space totaling 30,000 square meters, and has a registered capital of RMB 53 million. Its business scope includes: general projects such as the manufacture of mining machinery, specialized equipment (excluding licensed professional equipment), general-purpose equipment (excluding special equipment), mechanical and electrical equipment, R&D of mechanical equipment, as well as engineering and technical research and experimental development; sales of mining machinery, mechanical and electrical equipment, and general-purpose machinery; leasing of mechanical equipment; technical services, technology development, technical consulting, technical exchange, technology transfer, and technology promotion; installation services for ordinary mechanical equipment; repair of electrical equipment; agricultural scientific research and experimental development; R&D of technologies for the recycling and utilization of resources; R&D of technologies for the recycling of construction waste; services for the treatment, processing, and utilization of crop straw; biomass fuel processing; and the recovery of renewable resources (excluding production-related scrap metal). The company also engages in the sale of renewable resources, their processing, commercial services for rural domestic waste, the sale of waste disposal equipment, the processing and treatment of non-metallic waste and debris, solid waste management, and the processing and treatment of metal waste and debris. Its products are primarily used in industries such as coal, mining, coke, steel, hydropower, thermal power, chemical engineering, and cement, and are marketed both domestically and internationally.
In 2012, the company was recognized as a “Contract-Honoring and Credit-Keeping Enterprise” by Xinxiang City and was also awarded the title of “Henan Star Best Enterprise” by Henan Province. Today, it is one of China’s largest manufacturers of underground screening and crushing equipment with independent core intellectual property rights, primarily engaged in the R&D, design, production, and manufacturing of screening and crushing machinery. The company has independently developed a range of mineral-processing products, including centrifugal dewatering machines, screening and crushing units, and gangue-discharging machines, which feature rational designs, advanced processes, and excellent cost-effectiveness. Its technological level ranks among the top in China for comparable products. Drawing on extensive reviews and references to foreign mineral-processing equipment and leveraging cutting-edge technologies, the company’s technical team has conducted pioneering R&D to develop large-scale underground grading and crushing machines. These machines have been deployed in numerous coal mines and have demonstrated technical performance and capabilities that fully rival those of their foreign counterparts, thereby solidifying the company’s leading position in China’s crushing equipment manufacturing sector.
In 2000, the company established a Research and Development Center and a Technology Center, equipped with CAD workstations, and actively engaged in comprehensive, in-depth collaborations with leading universities and research institutes, including Henan Polytechnic University, Zhengzhou University, the Beijing Coal Design and Research Institute, and the Zhengzhou Coal Design and Research Institute. In 2008, the company, in partnership with Yanzhou Coal Mining Group of Shandong Province and Shandong University of Science and Technology, successfully completed research and application of “Technology for Crushing Large Blocks of Coal Gangue in Fully Mechanized Caving Faces,” which underwent scientific and technological achievement appraisal and was awarded the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of Shandong Province and the Second Prize for National High-Tech Innovation. In early 2010, the company formally signed a “industry–university–research” cooperation agreement with the School of Materials at Henan Polytechnic University, appointing postdoctoral fellows and distinguished experts from that institution as the company’s Technical Director and MBA faculty members from Zhengzhou University as the company’s Chief Economist and Management Consultant. Together with Henan Polytechnic University, the company has also developed an industry–university–research high-tech park, which is the first mineral-processing equipment industrial park in China. Currently, the company’s R&D team comprises more than 30 professionals holding doctoral, master’s, and bachelor’s degrees, covering such technical fields as automation, computer science, casting, heat treatment, coal preparation processes, mechanical manufacturing, and process design. The team boasts a well-balanced and highly complementary knowledge structure, underpinned by strong capabilities in technology development.
General Manager Zhang Wenzhong graduated in June 1990 from Henan University of Technology with a major in Mechanical Manufacturing and Process Equipment. He has also completed the Executive Program at Tsinghua University. With many years of experience in management and market research, he possesses a solid background in mechatronics, extensive corporate management expertise, and unparalleled practical experience in market operations. He is adept at integrating diverse resources, demonstrates a strong spirit of innovation, maintains an efficient and lean management structure, places great emphasis on research and development, and implements scientific management practices. Furthermore, all members of the management team have long-standing experience in the mineral-processing equipment industry, giving them a deep understanding of the sector. They remain keenly aware of technological trends and market prospects, make sound forecasts, and have established close, collaborative relationships with numerous clients, thereby laying a solid foundation for the company’s continued growth.
In the area of quality management, the company successfully underwent the sixth surveillance audit for ISO 9001 certification in 2022 and, in the same year, also passed the surveillance audits for ISO 9001 certification in environmental management and occupational health and safety management. Drawing on its experience in product design, development, and the commercialization of research outcomes, the company has established a comprehensive quality management system that encompasses a quality policy, quality objectives, and defined responsibilities. This system is implemented through quality control, quality assurance, and continuous quality improvement measures within the quality management framework. Furthermore, the company has developed detailed organizational procedures for quality management and clearly defined job responsibilities, thereby ensuring stable production-line quality, enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ultimately delivering customer satisfaction.
The company is equipped with a wide range of advanced machining, pressing, design, and testing equipment, including state-of-the-art computerized testing systems. These systems are used to conduct comprehensive physical and mechanical performance tests and characterizations on all vibration screens, vibration sources, and associated components developed through the company’s research, design, and manufacturing processes. In addition, stress, strain, and steel strength—among other mechanical parameters—are measured at various component locations, while amplitude, frequency, mode shapes, and motion trajectories are precisely monitored and documented.
The assembly of mineral-processing equipment requires a large number of machined components. To meet this need, the company has established an in-house machining workshop that is responsible for the production and machining of all repair parts for its mineral-processing equipment. The workshop is currently equipped with five small machining centers, 20 CNC lathes, four gantry planers, five universal milling machines, four gantry milling machines, three hydraulic plate shears, 10 inspection devices, and 10 testing instruments—totaling more than 120 pieces of machining and inspection equipment. In addition, the workshop is fully capable of manufacturing a wide range of large-scale crushing and mineral-processing equipment tailored for mining operations, with an annual processing capacity of up to 150 sets.
In today’s rapidly evolving business environment, the company has formulated a long-term strategic vision: to be market-oriented, talent-driven, and technology-powered; to proactively implement modern corporate governance reforms and strengthen scientific management; to build an industrial structure that seamlessly integrates coal-mining machinery with environmental protection equipment; and to progressively develop into a socially integrated, group-based enterprise centered on technology and talent.
Weida’s belief: “Technology first, quality first, customer first, and reputation first.”
