Working Principle
The YAH circular vibrating screen uses an exciter as its vibration source, and the screening unit consists of an exciter, a screen box, vibration-isolation devices, and a transmission mechanism. The vibrating screen features a rectangular screen surface mounted on the screen box. Under the action of the exciter, the screen box and screen surface generate vibrations with circular, elliptical, or linear trajectories. These vibrations loosen the material layer on the screen surface, causing it to be lifted off the surface; fine particles pass through the material layer, fall through the screen openings, and are discharged, while particles lodged in the screen openings are vibrated free. In addition to performing the screening function, this motion also propels the material forward.
An inertial vibrating screen with a circular trajectory is known as a circular vibrating screen, or simply a round vibrating screen. This type of inertial vibrating screen is also referred to as a single-axis or dual-axis vibrating screen with a circular trajectory. The entire product line comprises dozens of specifications and is suitable for dry classification of materials in industries such as coal preparation, mineral processing, building materials, power generation, and chemical engineering.
Screening characteristics
1. Large-amplitude vibration causes the material to be thrown upward, allowing fine particles to move toward the lower part of the material bed and exit through the screen openings;
2. Circular vibration with a large amplitude helps materials lodged in the screen openings to dislodge, thereby preventing screen clogging.
3. High material screening efficiency;
4. The circular vibrating screen allows the screening surface inclination to be adjusted, thereby altering the material’s travel speed along the screen surface and increasing the screen’s processing capacity.
5. For materials that are difficult to screen, the exciter can be reversed, thereby reversing the vibration direction relative to the material’s movement. This reduces the material’s travel speed along the screen surface, increases the screening residence time, and enhances screening efficiency.
