This crusher is primarily used in industries such as mineral processing, chemical engineering, power plants, cement production, and building materials for the fine crushing of ores and coal of high to medium hardness.
Working Principle
The electric motor transmits power to the reducer via a coupling; after speed reduction, the power is then used to drive the two toothed rollers to rotate inward. When material falls from the feed inlet into the crushing chamber, it enters the chamber along the tangential direction of the rollers’ circumferential velocity and is crushed by the squeezing action of the two smooth-surfaced rollers. The crushed material is then discharged through the discharge outlet.
Structural Features
(1) This crusher features extrusion crushing, which can significantly simplify the process flow and reduce equipment and infrastructure investment.
(2) Primarily relies on compressive shear and tensile forces to crush materials, resulting in high efficiency and energy savings.
(3) The gears in the reducer are ground to achieve a hardened tooth surface, resulting in high gear accuracy, smooth operation, and low noise.
(4) The roll cover features a smooth, polished surface and is made of wear-resistant steel, ensuring a long service life.
(5) The fixed roller between the reducer and the toothed roll is connected via an elastic pin coupling, while the movable roller is connected via a universal coupling, which significantly reduces the impact of crushing shocks on the reducer and facilitates easy replacement.
(6) Compact structure, low height, small footprint, and light weight.
