Product Introduction
The screening and crushing machine consists of a screening system and a crushing system. It can be installed in conjunction with underground coal mine transfer machines and self-propelled tail units to perform screening followed by crushing, thereby increasing the lumpiness of the material and extending the service life of the crushing system’s toothed rollers.
The screening and crushing machine features an integrated design, with the screening system employing a roller-screening principle. Each screening roller is driven by its own independent drive unit. The inclined arrangement of the screening rollers enables the material to continuously move toward the discharge outlet under the influence of its own gravity as it enters the screening system, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and preventing blockages.
Drive method
The crushing system is driven by a single motor. After passing through the screening system, larger-sized materials enter the crushing system for size reduction. The crushing system comprises two crushing rollers: one roller is driven by a crushing reducer, which in turn uses transmission gears to synchronize and drive the other roller to rotate in the opposite direction. Crushing teeth are mounted on the toothed shafts of the rollers. As materials enter the crushing chamber, the two rollers crush the material that has already been screened by the screening rollers.
The screening and crushing machine performs crushing of the material at the coal mine’s feed point, effectively preventing damage to the conveyor belt caused by impact from large chunks of material.
