Working Principle
The High-Intensity Vibrating Screen is a dry-screening device specifically designed for the screening of moist, fine-particle materials that are difficult to screen, and it is currently one of the most effective screening solutions for handling such materials. Featuring large amplitude, high vibration intensity, and an elastic screen surface, this screen distinguishes itself from other types of screening equipment. It can efficiently process moist materials without clogging the screen openings, all while maintaining robust processing capacity. During operation, it consistently maintains a high open-area ratio, resulting in high screening efficiency and substantial throughput; moreover, the screen panels are replaceable, which helps reduce costs. By employing process parameters such as large amplitude, high vibration intensity, and an elastic screen surface, the High-Intensity Vibrating Screen significantly improves the screening conditions for moist materials. The high vibration intensity combined with the rapid movement of the material enables fine particles to pass through the screen quickly, thereby minimizing the adverse effects of moisture content and viscosity on screening performance. The screen’s extra-large screening area and high processing capacity meet the production demands on site. Furthermore, modifications to the mechanical structure—specifically, the adoption of multi-section screen-surface vibration while isolating the screen box and frame from the vibratory motion—effectively address the challenge of scaling up screening equipment. The vibration intensity K-value for the multi-section screen surfaces ranges from 4.9 to 9, which is two to three times that of conventional screening equipment. To ensure dynamic balance of the vibration system during operation, adjacent sections of the multi-section screen surface are driven in phase-shifted relative motions, so that most of the inertial forces generated during vibration are mutually canceled out. As a result, the screen box and frame exert minimal vibration on the foundation throughout the screening process. The High-Intensity Vibrating Screen is thus an exceptionally effective screening solution for handling highly viscous, moist materials.
Structural Features
1. Segmented screening with no overall vibration of the screening machine: Unlike conventional vibrating screens, the high-intensity vibrating screen does not have a fully vibrating structure. The side plates, top cover, and base of the screening machine are fixed components; only the screen mesh and the exciter assembly vibrate.
2. The self-cleaning heavy-duty screen employs a variety of anti-blocking screen mesh technologies, ensuring that it remains free of clogging and maintains high screening efficiency regardless of operating conditions—whether handling ordinary wet, sticky raw coal, wet, sticky lignite, or raw coal mixed with coal slurry, gangue, washed middlings, and other similar feed materials.
3. High-dust industrial and mining environments typically employ robust, enclosed-screening structures to prevent dust from escaping, thereby meeting environmental protection requirements.
4. Due to the unique design feature of the heavy-duty vibrating screen—where the screen frame remains stationary while the screen mesh vibrates—the dynamic stress on the screen can be significantly reduced, allowing for a substantial increase in amplitude while simultaneously reducing the dynamic load.
5. Increasing the screening area, vibration intensity, material travel speed, and screen aperture rate ensures both processing capacity and screening efficiency during operation.
6. The unique PLC control system for the heavy-duty screen typically employs 1 to 6 motors, with a start-up time interval of 5 to 10 seconds between each motor. Motors are started in sequence and stopped in reverse order to ensure that the screen starts under no-load conditions. This design prevents material from accumulating on the screen, facilitating inspection and maintenance. Therefore, the heavy-duty screen utilizes a PLC to control a wide range of operations, including equipment start-up, shutdown, manual operation, and remote control.
7. Excellent maintainability: The heavy-duty vibrating screen has very few vibrating components—only the screen mesh and the vibrator assembly—are involved in the vibration. Therefore, we have designed these components as modular, standardized units, enabling quick replacement of the entire assembly and convenient ground-level maintenance, thereby significantly reducing on-line repair time and ensuring safe production.
