Working Principle

The open-pit coal-mining process is a continuous production flow that employs a single-bucket truck combined with a heavy-duty scraper or a heavy-duty plate feeder, followed by a primary crusher, a belt conveyor, a secondary crusher, and another belt conveyor to transport the material to a stockpile area or storage silo. Our company offers crushing stations in four configurations: stationary, semi-mobile, mobile, and fully mobile. As the name suggests, a stationary crushing station is installed once and remains in place, making it ideal for fixed mining sites. A semi-mobile crushing station is set up on the ground adjacent to the mining face; its main equipment is mobile, while auxiliary equipment must be disassembled and relocated. A mobile crushing station integrates feeding equipment, crushing equipment, screening units, and conveying systems onto a wheeled or tracked mobile platform, enabling it to move along with the mining front and thereby reducing production costs and infrastructure requirements. Mobile crushing stations are positioned close to the mining face and are relocated as the mining face advances and the internal spoil dump shifts. At the coal-mining face, dump trucks ascend the pit road to the surface and enter the unloading platform at the crushing station; once the receiving hopper is aligned, the trucks unload their cargo into the hopper. The raw coal fed into the hopper is then centrally conveyed by a heavy-duty scraper to the crusher for size reduction. After crushing, the coal is transferred to a belt conveyor on the surface, which feeds it into the surface transportation and storage system.
